Welcome to Volume 7 of On The Pulse. April is where momentum becomes measurable. With Open Enrollment behind us and Q1 in the books, this is the time to evaluate what is working, refine your approach, and double down on the strategies that drive long-term growth.

At Heathos, we are focused on strengthening the tools, support systems, and partnerships that help agents stay consistent throughout the year, not just during peak seasons.

We are also looking ahead to two major opportunities to connect in person. Our team will be attending Medicarians 2026 and LeadsCon 2026 in Las Vegas. These events are a chance to share what we are building, hear directly from agents, and explore new ways to collaborate. We encourage you to come see us there.

In this issue, we focus on spring engagement strategies, early retention signals, and what you can expect when you meet us at these upcoming events.

Warm regards,

Todd Baxter

Agency Licensing Compliance Audit

We have an important update regarding licensing compliance. Please review the key actions and deadlines below, as action may be required.

We are conducting a state-by-state audit of agency licenses. State Departments of Insurance require agencies to maintain an active license in each state where they market, solicit, sell, or service insurance products, and our Producer Agreement requires these licenses to remain in good standing. In addition, the agency must hold an active license in a state before any licensed agent affiliated with the agency may market, solicit, or sell insurance in that state.

Agency Schedule

Additional states will be communicated as the audit progresses. Agencies may submit updated licensing documentation for any state at any time, even if it is not yet part of an audit wave.

If any required licenses are missing, please begin the application process and provide proof of submission before the applicable deadline.

If seeking to obtain licenses in multiple states, streamline the process by using centralized licensing platforms (NIPR or Sircon). Most states have a 24-hour processing turnaround time.

If you have additional questions or need assistance with state licensing requirements, our Licensing team at Licensing@firstenroll.com is available to help.

Thank you for your prompt attention and continued partnership.

Early Retention Signals

The first 90 days of coverage provide early indicators of long-term retention. Members who understand their plans and feel supported are more likely to stay engaged.

Consumer Expectations

Today consumers expect clear, simple communication. Agents who can explain benefits in plain terms will stand out and build stronger trust.

Compliance Reminder

CMS continues to emphasize timely reporting of life changes to avoid eligibility or subsidy issues later in the year.
